Good News!

Our story begins with this sober reality: every one of us is born in sin. From the moment we enter this world, we fall short of God’s holiness and cannot make ourselves good enough to enter heaven. No amount of effort, morality, or religion can erase our guilt or save our souls. Left to ourselves, we are spiritually dead and without hope. But God, rich in mercy and moved by His great love, sent His Son Jesus Christ to do for us what we could never do for ourselves.

Jesus lived a perfect life yet He willingly took upon Himself the punishment our sin deserved. He endured the fullness of God’s wrath in our place. He was buried, and on the third day He rose again, conquering sin and death once for all. His resurrection stands as the sure and final proof that God accepted His sacrifice.

The Bible declares that salvation is offered as a free gift from God: “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8) and “by grace we have been saved through faith it is the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8)

When we recognize that we truly deserve God’s wrath, acknowledge our complete inability to save ourselves, and turn to Jesus in faith—trusting in His finished work alone—we are forgiven and saved!

Yet God does far more than simply spare us from the hell we deserve. In His astonishing grace, He makes us new and adopts us as His own beloved children, granting us the privilege of sharing a glorious heavenly inheritance with Jesus Christ Himself.
